We often come regularly to Camp Cottage to soak up the sun in summer or bunker down next to the stove in the winter time.
Two of our most important guests are Belle and Latte who love making the trip up to the cottage for a long weekend away. They tend to get excited when we turn off the main road and start to go down to the cottage there is obviously something they can smell in the air. It may be the cows or the sheep we don’t know.
Meet Latte
He is a Minature Schnatuzer and is the newest addition to our family. He loves the cottage and is always sniffing the air to catch a scent, perhaps to try to locate the nearest flock of sheep and rediscover his sheepdog ancestry.
When it is time to BBQ he is always there sitting next to the person in charge of the food waiting for his dinner.
Nicknames. Prince, Manchie, Manchie Moo,
This is Latte on a walk. I believe it is on the way to the Welsh border somewhere near the Black mountains which you can actually see from the Cottage
This is Latte exploring the area near the cottage, He always loves to check out his surroundings and let anyone in the distance know he is there. He hasn’t noticed the sheep yet in the distance.
Meet Belle
Belle is the Queen of the house and has been very much at the head of our household for over 13 years now. She is still tenacious and keeps Latte in his place. Now she is starting to slow down a little she is using the time at the cottage to relax and treats the place almost like her own personal spa with us as her person aides.
